While it is clear that Star City sits by the ocean, for many years its precise location on the map was unconfirmed, like has always been the case with Gotham and Metropolis.

Yeah, we see cities like New York, DC, and San Fran all the time in the DC universe. Also, fairly certain that Gotham is generally known to be in New Jersey, but definitely correct about Metropolis. I've mostly seen it on the east coast, I was under the impression that it was Maryland. 9.
