Posted October 15, 2006 Hi everyone, I've heard only good things about Pelikan's range of fountain pens, but I'm embarrassed to say that I've never used one. About time I did! So, just for starters I was thinking of starting at the bottom end of the range and going for an M150.

The Fountain Pen Shop was originally downtown, and much of the money came from servicing pens used by court reporters I read. The Pelikan m150 is a decent pen and it does have a small niche in the market but the m200 is simply a better fountain pen with a minimal price difference. If you do have smaller hands, only need the standard nib sizes, and are on a tight budget though, the m150 may be the better option for your situation but the majority of people will be.
