A simple fix to this would have Mira kill towa and absorb the egg but instead of the player killing him, you spare him or he is able to barely survive the kamehameha and get away. Or Towa has seen how the Sayians are able to push themselves and incorperated some form of that into Mira, then when he absorbs Towa and I think the Time Egg at the same time he's pushing himself over his limit I think.
