The path at Levada do Alecrim offers beautiful views in some places, is otherwise in the shade (which is particularly advantageous on hot summer days), has only few exposed passages and is therefore easy to master even for inexperienced hikers. The path is also not overcrowded. The waterfall at the end is beautiful.
