At the gateway to the Palace Quarter, the SzabĂł Ervin Library (FĆvĂĄrosi SzabĂł Ervin KönyvtĂĄr - FSZEK) stands close to KĂĄlvin tĂ©r in District VIII.Housed in the Neo-Baroque Wenckheim Palace built in 1889, it has been functioning as a library since 1931. As well as an architectural landmark, it's a popular place for students, professors and academics to spend many a rainy afternoon.
