La calle 31 de Agosto de San Sebastián no es una calle más de Donosti. Es la única calle que sobrevivió a la destrucción de la ciudad hace unos doscientos años. Poca gente sabe que esta hermosa villa, tal y como hoy podemos contemplarla, tiene tan solo doscientos años.

La calle 31 de agosto es un peligro para los amantes de cuidad la línea. En ella se ubican algunos de los restaurantes de pinchos más interesantes de la ciudad, y hay unos cuantos. Destacar Gandarias y la Cuchara de San Telmo, sin que los demás desmerezcan. Aparte del tema culinario en ella se hallan también la iglesia de Nuestra Señora.
