Yellowknife's visitor centre has a new home. It can now be found on 50th Street. The new space showcases a gold speckled floor, local artwork, a preserved moss wall, maps and QR codes for artists. There's also a help desk. The new visitor centre replaces the old building that was demolished 2 years ago.

The opening of a visitor centre in the mall follows the demolition of the Northern Frontier Visitors Centre, which was vacated in 2017 and demolished in 2020 after structural issues were identified.
