[Feedback] Launcher defekt? Black Desert NA/EU
I have been unable to play since the patch on January 15th because Failed to apply patch file. I have been in contact with support, 3 tickets so far with 2 answered. Things I have tried (no success with any): - "Scan Files" button. Multiple attempts with PC restart in between. - Delete patch_temp folder.

2. Run the update.log file in the folder where Black Desert is installed. 3. Scroll to the bottom of the file to confirm the number of the latest patch you have installed. The screenshot shows that your latest patch is 26. 4. __create a new folder named "patch_temp" where Black Desert is installed.

This folder has the hidden attribute set to on, so make sure you can see hidden files in order to delete this.

To put it simply, there's a broken file in your game client that that launcher was not able to read from or write to. Thus the launcher throws an exception that "The patch has failed." I had this issue, my solution after trying almost all guides posted was just to copy a new FULL CLIENT into another drive or directory.

Check the last few lines in the update.log under your game files \BlackDesert\update.log to see which files are having issues. Try having a friend that has successfully updated send you the file/s and replace them. Delete all the PAP files under\BlackDesert\patch_temp . Figure it was an issue on their end. Strict-Cheesecake-32 • 9 mo. ago. My solution was to uninstall bdo, delete the registry entry and then reinstall bdo. Path to the reistry entry : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\BlackDesert folder Deleted the Pearl Abyss Folder there. After that i was able tonplay again.
